At Conti Life Wellness, I create a safe and supportive environment
for my clients. Together, we address the needs of the whole person:
mind, body, and soul ... a holistic process. As partners, we work
to discover a woman's own personal place of balance and wellness.
Holistic health
is not just about changing eating choices and habits: it's about
being empowered to change the way you think and feel about food
and yourself. Why are these changes important?
Because what we eat makes us what we are from the inside out.
You are what you eat. Yes, it's true! Food enters the bloodstream
and affects your cells, tissues, blood, bones, organs, hair and
nails. What you eat changes everything: food becomes you! It's easy
then, to understand how the food we choose to eat can impact our
mood, behavior, energy, and even our thoughts. The impact can be
positive or negative depending on the choices made, and how closely
in sync those food choices are with the needs of the individual
body at any given time. Our overall health and happiness depend
on the food choices that we make. Those individual needs are called
bio-individuality.
Health problems
arise because of what we are or are not eating. Because
we are bio-individuals, our bodies have unique requirements. That's
why there is no 'one diet' for everyone. Ancestry, genetics, personal
tastes and preferences, blood types and metabolic rates, for example,
all combine to determine which foods work best for us. One person's
food may indeed be another person's poison.
At Conti Life
Wellness, I help women learn how to discover and utilize their own
personal bio-individuality. My clients begin to understand how food
and lifestyle choices affect the overall quality of their moods
and health. My ideal clients are women who want to live more fully,
have more energy, feel happier and breathe deeper by adopting a
healthier lifestyle. I help them to initiate gently-paced and lasting
changes, that create balance in their lives.
